I’m so excited to share the next beautiful transformation of our backyard photo nook!

Using the same cozy nook we used for Christmas and Hockey Locker Room photos, we’re giving it a breathtaking spring makeover — and it may just be my favourite yet!  The nook is in my backyard in the Garrison Woods/Marda Loop neighbourhood.

This season, The Nook will be overflowing with gorgeous, full, vibrant fuchsia planters from Vale’s Greenhouse in Diamond Valley, creating a dreamy greenhouse-inspired setting. In fact, it was a recent visit to the greenhouse — where my mom used to work decades ago — that sparked this whole idea! I wasn’t even planning to offer spring photos, but the moment I saw those stunning planters, I knew this had to happen.  So with the help of my husband and son, we've made it happen!  

We’re adding in my mom’s beloved watering can, sweet chairs, and some other surprises to create a garden escape that space that feels feels fresh and joyful.   It's the perfect setting for updated family photos, motherhood sessions, children’s portraits, or simply celebrating the beauty of the season. 

It makes me smile so much just thinking about it!!
